I remember seeing Felipe play with the Giants, Braves, Yankees, and Blue Jays. i also remember his brothers, Jesus and Matty. All three were good players. Jesus would swing at anything he could reach a lot like Vlad Sr. used to do. I am so old I remember seeing Musial, Mays, Mantle, Aaron, Berra, and Ted Williams the last year he played. LOL If I had to draft an all-time team, no doubt I would start it with Mays. Lucky you. Willie turned 90 either yesterday or today. I also got to see Bob Gibson, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Juan Marichal, and those guys pitch. I got to see Nolan Ryan, but, I am sure lots of those here did, too.

Hey guys, how did Springer do tonight?? Teammates were all glad to see him. He got a tribute on the video board like the one they gave Hinch. You could tell he was glad to be there. It was strange seeing him in that damn Blue Jays uniform.

LOL My own personal opinion the best players in the game played in the 60's. I share your opinion. More great players then, and, they didn't go on the IL with a runny nose or hangnail.

George looks really comfortable on the bench. I'm guessing he is pretty used to it by now. You’re doing well, son. Keep it going.

Flat footed with no hop all the way in the air. What a throw. That may be the most impressive outfield assist I’ve seen in a while.

It would have been great if Astros would have drafted Calvin and signed Louries, when they were available

It would have been great if Astros would have drafted Calvin and signed Louries, when they were available For all of his speed, Straw is not a good baserunner. He needs a coach or veteran player to teach him how to get a lead off first base and what angle to take when sliding. He should have scored that run even with Gurriel's throw.

We should target him in free agency at the right time.

I want to replay several times, he was just beat... No slide would made a difference.... One heck of a throw

I think Tucker may be the best baserunner on the team. The problem is he’s rarely on base. However, I agree with Thomas. Straw would’ve been had no matter what he did because that was an elite throw by Lourdes. That kind of cannon toss from his back foot is rare to see.

I agree. I don't want him just because he's Craig's son. It would depend on how he progresses and the numbers he's putting up. I am sure Craig would be happy if he came home.
