Perez is 8-4 against us with a 2.46 ERA. His career totals are nowhere close to those numbers

Makes me think he is due for some regression against us.

Some pitchers just get up for certain teams

How about we bunt and steal third? Let the seemingly improving Bregman drive them in.

Some pitchers just get up for certain teams The best example of this among Astros pitchers would be Roy Oswalt vs the Reds. For his career Roy O. was 23 wins 3 losses vs Cincinnati.

If his career had not been cut short J.R. Richard may have ended up with a similar career record vs the Dodgers. He absolutely owned LA. His career record vs the Dodgers was 15 wins 4 losses, 1.86 ERA and 14 complete games in 24 starts.

This conversation made me curious about Pujols. Everyone always talks about how good he is against us and how he has hurt us so bad, especially at MMP. The facts are surprising:
Career OPS: .921 OPS against the Astros: .856 OPS at MMP: .826
Overall, we've actually done a much better job than most against him, especially at MMP. .826 is a good OPS for sure, but it's almost 100 points lower than his career average.

The Altuve homer might be the most badass in team history, but to me the most iconic WTF homer that wasn’t supposed to happen was this.

Is Brantley off the IL today and back in the lineup? He is off the IL today. Who knows if he will be in the lineup? Dusty may have him scheduled for a day off.

There is no way to logically explain what Dusty uses to determine who gets a day off. He has a habit of resting guys who are hitting. I hope we see Brantley in today's lineup. Dusty could think Brantley needs the day off due to the rehab work he may done that tired him out. LOL

I can see it now. Astros go into Game 4 of the World Series ready to sweep. After the loss:
Reporter: Why didn’t Altuve play? Is he hurt? Dusty: No, it was a just a routine day off.

I was sticking up for Dusty last season and in this past off season, But after seeing so many stupid moves, after stupid moves, I'm hoping this is his last season. Hopefully the Astros win the WS, and Dusty retires
