I like Chas. Although Straw is really starting to come along. Straw batting .327 with .404 OBP and .833 OPS over his last 15 games.

Brantley with three doubles....Kyle and Yordan with two run bombs......Straw and Stubbs with two hits apiece.......Bregman still looks like crap. When will they ever learn that letting Jose swing 3-0 is a recipe for disaster. He should always be given a take sign in that situation. He already takes too many hittable pitches with that squatting he does. I agree that he takes too many hittable pitches while he squats, but, he has a history of always swinging at a 3-0 pitch no matter where it is and making an out. Today, it didn't hurt because Brantley picked him up.

14 runs and 20 hits. Three bombs. Myles Straw is beginning to show he belongs in the lineup. It is also good to see Chas come in and hit tht bomb over the batting eye in CF and a double. The bottom of the order plus Michael are sparking the offense. We put up the runs in spite of nothing from Bregman, Altuve, and Yuli who went a combined 1 for 12. Bottom of the order went 10 for 18.
Framber didn't have his best stuff but still only allowed one run in 7 innings.

Altuve and Bregman have each hit a bit of a slump. Although Altuve has had a little bad luck on hard hit balls in play.
Tucker, Straw, and Brantley continue to do well with Yuli and Yordan though.
Nice game for Stubb's, and Chas makes the most of his PT.

Bregman should be able to make some adjustments since he can see that he is swinging under everything.

When is Springer is set to come back? I have not kept up with that and have no clue. What is your opinion of the 6 man rotation they are talking about? I have seen McCullers and Odorizzi listed as starters against the Rangers and also McCullers and Greinke.

No. I wonder how often they wish they had Girardi back. I will be surprised if Boone isn't fired any time now. I wish we could send Dusty to them. LOL

I don't like a six person rotation, because our bullpen sucks.. I think Garcia and Javier we'll need to help out the bullpen until things get better.

We are hitting a spot starting Tuesday where we play 20 straights games with no off days. McCullers is starting Tuesday and Odorizzi is relieving him. After the 20 games someone will go to the pen or the dL. The good news is that our schedule will be much easier than the A’s. They just polished off their cream puff part of June.

We need more arms in the bullpen, not the rotation. If they go with five, for the time being, I'd put McCullers in the pen and keep Garcia in the rotation. They won't do that, but, I would.
