39-28
I would say this is easily the hardest series we've seen this year. This will be a test to see if we really are a legitimate WS contender with the way we're currently built. Yes, we won't have Tucker and Bregman right now, but odds are we'll have an injury or two in the postseason as well.
The White Sox have come down to Earth some with their offense, but they still have an aggressive confident team that can score, and their pitching has been surprisingly very good. They're in the process of cementing themselves as a top team for probably the next few years.

I like what the White Sox are doing. Imagine if they had everyone healthy. Good team. This series is the battle of old school coaches.

Tonight's lineup is interesting.....Chas batting second, Toro at third base, and Castro catching.
Bregman to the IL......Stubbs recalled.

Going to have our two power hitting dwarfs getting plenty of ABs! Toro can't be any worse than the last time we saw him. I guess the way to look at it is that he's too good for AAA. He has torn up AAA to the tune of: .392/.497/.600 1.097 OPS If he could do even just 2/3rds of that well at the MLB level while having the ability to play multiple positions, he'd have plenty of value and would be a solid player like Diaz. I'm going to hope for the best. (And in a bigger sample size in AA: .282/.369/.468 .836 OPS)

I was watching the Chasmonster's HRs from last night and I noticed that he keeps a very low strong base with his legs that helps him get under pitches with a lot of force. It's a lot like Bagwell, really. Obviously he doesn't start as low as Bagwell did, but he gets there with his stride and crouch.

I guess Dusty wants a later in the order threat since they’ve been getting a lot of homers with Altuve.
