Please no Bielak this game We are going to see the return of Abreu instead. Jose pulled his head out and got a leadoff double. Yuli gets a single and Yordan cranks a three run homer to left. Welcome back to the new papa. Correa has sucked ass all three trips. He looked like a fool taking strike three in the 5th. Straw is 2-2 with an RBI. PLEASE let Dusty wake up and move him to the leadoff spot.

If Myles works his way up to the leadoff spot in the order, this season's a success no matter how it ends as far as I'm concerned

Maldonado is such a bad hitter. He took the RBI pitch for a strike and kept swinging at nonsense.

If Straw moves to leadoff, where do you bat Altuve? 3-hole. Move everyone else down one spot.

If Straw moves to leadoff, where do you bat Altuve? I would bat Jose 5th. Between Yordan and Carlos. I really like having Brantley at 2 and Yuli at 3. Probably the smartest, most clutch hitters on the team back-to-back.

Straw got screwed by the home plate ump. He should have been on base with a 4-pitch walk.

You know this has got to be a discouraging loss for Oakland. They roll into town and jump on Framber for 6 runs in the first 2 innings. They had to be feeling pretty good about themselves. Then they lose by 3.

You know this has got to be a discouraging loss for Oakland. They roll into town and jump on Framber for 6 runs in the first 2 innings. They had to be feeling pretty good about themselves. Then they lose by 3. This game should be a demoralizing loss for them and a big confidence builder for us. After two innings and Framber giving up 6 runs, I thought there was no way we would win this one. Yordan Alvarez kept us in the game and allowed us to win. Our bullpen was outstanding. The A's got ONE hit over the last four innings. If Abreu can pitch like this consistently, we have found a big piece of that pen.
