Unless somebody has a dramatic Game 6 (or 7)...and provided we hang on and win... this will be a tough call. Nobody has really stood out that has played every game. Chirinos and Yordan have each played well but only 3 games so far.
Despite the inconsistency, Springer is probably my pick at the moment. He's hitting .316 and leading the everyday players in OPS at 1.217.
But, Altuve is hitting .360, Brantley is hitting .400, and Harris continues to be the most valuable pitcher in the postseason.

Altuve, Springer, Brantley, Harris, Urquidy Slice and dicing through the stat sheet shows no clear MVP choice at this point. You conceivably could add Harris, Chirinos and Alvarez (.545 ba) to that list.

Considering both offense AND defense, I think we have to mention Yuli. He's hitting .318 with 4 RBI and has saved our bacon twice on defense.

Hopefully we will have a Cheech and Chong themed Trophy presentation again this year. "Dave's not Here"

Odd series. The most consistent bats aren't having big RBI moments, and the big swings are coming from those not doing much at the plate

And that's what is making it tough. You almost have to look at who is being the most consistent and pesky for the Nationals. That comes down to Altuve and Brantley so far for me, but you look at Springer's overall production and it's the best for all the everyday players. Unless somebody breaks through in this last game (or two), it's going to be tough. Who even votes for the series MVP?

The only 2B to win the WS MVP was Bobby Richardson in 1960. Might be time for another.

If Verlander wins Game 6 1-0, it's gonna be tough to award one individual. It truly would be a team effort with that scenario

This is the strangest World Series I've ever watched. I guess that was bound to happen if the Astros faced the Expos
