My wife and I are getting some. Altuve would never wear it though.

Stros down to the Nats 0-1. Framber with 2 scoreless, hitless innings. Yordan is 0-2 with 2 K’s.

Yordan will be fine........If Framber comes around, that is a huge boost for our pitching staff, espcially since he is a lefty, I hope Click and Dusty realize that we need lefties on the pitching staff since Luhnow and Hinch didn't seem to put much value on it .

Framber with 3 strikeouts and 3 groundouts in 2 shutout innings. Good start to ST.

I wish they could wear these to take batting practice before games.

Framber was good in 2018 and was doing well until about halfway through June last year when he fell off the world. I wonder if he is still fixable.

Well, that’s quite a win today. Straw was my guy to watch and did well.

Well, that’s quite a win today. Straw was my guy to watch and did well. If he can hit and get on base, he will be a valuable part of this team. I have seen where Dusty plans to keep George in the leadoff spot. If Straw can get o base consistently, I hope he reconsiders.

I really hope that Straw and Tucker both do very well this year. It will keep our payroll down for next year for sure.

Altuve was HBP. Was it on purpose?

Altuve was HBP. Was it on purpose? We will never know. If cheating had never occurred, we would not be asking this question. Since cheating DID occur, the more important question is, “Is the pitcher tainted if he didn’t hit Altuve on purpose?”

Am I the only one who watches ESPN/MLBN lick on Gerrit Cole's sack now that he's a Yankee and it makes me hope he crashes and burns?

Altuve was HBP. Was it on purpose? i don't think so and Dusty didn't. It was a curve ball that hit him on the foot.

Am I the only one who watches ESPN/MLBN lick on Gerrit Cole's sack now that he's a Yankee and it makes me hope he crashes and burns? I predict that Cole never again comes close to producing the numbers he put up last season. Last year was his walk year and now he has the long-term high-AAV contract he was pitching for. He can shift into a lower gear now.

Abreu looks like he has added 20 pounds or so since last season.

Abreu looks like he has added 20 pounds or so since last season. I liked what I saw of him last season. I can see him being a big part of our pen and could eventually be in the rotation.
