He was out of line from the start. I know he was annoyed at being drilled in the back twice, but it was obviously not on purpose.
Although I don't like the idea of our hitting coach goading him. It would be one thing if Strom or Baker was yelling at a hitter to defend their pitcher, but Cintron had no reason to be involved in that. (He should be focusing on why our team can't score more than two runs...)

Makes you wonder, and, we know what players on opposing teams are saying about it. As of right now, teams probably aren’t afraid of the Astros. Right now, teams look forward to playing the Astros. |

What did y'all think about this dude storming toward the Astros dugout after he got beaned? Rumors are flying that he may be banned for the season. Garneau tackled him lol Tackle footballHe was a damn fool to charge the dugout by himself. Garneau tackled the idiot and probably kept things from being worse. I hope they ban him for the rest of the season. I also thought it interesting that the A's set their rotation so Fiers didn't face us in this series. |

My take on it is this:
1. Castellanos likely didn’t have a beef with Laureano.
2. Laureano shouldn’t give pointers on how to pitch.
3. Laureano was wrong. Cintrón was wrong. However, a coach should know better than to challenge a player to a fight.
4. Fire Cintrón. It’s not like we’re hitting anyway. He makes me miss Dave Hudgens.

They should fire Cintron and hire a decent hitting coach. I'm in agreement. Cintron is useless. I don't know who is available,but, he needs to go. See if Biggio or Berkman would do it, We may could get Craig since he can't go watch Cavan play in a stadium. |
