ANY cop who uses his firearm against a negro in this time period is a FOOL. Their only legitimate option right now is a tactical retreat when they see the shit hitting the fan. Let the brown people rampage...it's better than ending him/them and going to prison...or worse. I am so glad I left that line of work two decades ago and am glad I did it during a time when you could still do what needed to be done to protect yourself and the public. Crazy world we live in. I am going to wait and get both sides of the story before commenting anymore on it.

The owners and commissioners are destroying professional sports by tolerating this crap.

I'm tired of the BLM shit and all the rioting and looting and watching the thugs get by with it.

What I learned from COVID, is that I can function without watching sports....I missed it, but I learned to deal without it. I was glad it was back, but if it's go away again, it won't be the end of the world. I'd rather these overpaid, overprivileged athletes learn their lesson as opposed to try to teach us one

I'd rather these overpaid, overprivileged athletes learn their lesson as opposed to try to teach us one I want to say that we all love baseball and the Stros or we would not be on this site. It does not matter to me what color, race or gender anyone is. I get along with everyone. But these athletes need to know they need us, much more than we need them. I mean that in the most positive way. It's just the way it is. Anyone can protest, that is their right but remember it is our right to spend our hard earned dollars on what we want. The owners are not backed into a corner. They pay the players (thru our money) to play a game. Tv deals, jersey sales, tickets, etc. That's the only thing we want to see, a game.

The reason why many of us invest our time and money into professional sports is so we can use it as both a distraction and entertainment for our everyday lives. It’s a fun stress-relieving reality program that doesn’t suck. We watch baseball in our leisure as a means to vicariously live through the athletes and to feel the elation of winning and success.
We don’t come from from a hard day’s Covid-19-exposed work to have grown bourgeois athletes disconnected from the plight of the common man lecturing us on how “we can do better”. No thank you. I think I’d rather watch me some Netflix.

It would be VERY easy to lose me as a fan. They did it already in 1994, and they're mightly close to doing it again in 2020. This time I won't come back, though.

With how out of touch athletes are, how much they get ridiculously get paid, how much empowered they believe that their opinions are....F' them...... Professional Sports can die.....This might be a blessing...Maybe years and years down the road it starts up again.....And the new owners, with the new athletes will have learned the mistakes of their predecessors..... Boycott US?, no MFs, WE will Boycott YOU!

I can't not have baseball. And football is close behind. Yes you can....for the betterment of this country and for professional sports....these Prima Donnas need the Snickers Bar (commercial) of Reality!!!!! Huge Wake Up Call. If things keep going as they are, we have no choice....I will not, nor should any of us, surrender to this insanity.. Who I would feel sorry most for, are the moms and pops businesses that will be utterly destroyed if professional sports shuts down....ones that could no take the hit..... Everyone else can go get another job... Maybe Abregmanfan's kid can be apart of the professional sports rebuild in 7 to 10 years... So if staying present course, we, the silent majority, speak loudly by not financially supporting professional sports in any way: going to games, watching the games, buying merchandising, etc.

The popular vote in 2016 was already more liberal-leaning. I believe that has grown in the last four years.

Beware of the silent, because they carry the biggest voice. The popular vote in 2016 was already more liberal-leaning. I believe that has grown in the last four years. BTW - as I posted before, I didn't vote for Trump the last time. I didn't feel like he was a Republican, and I didn't think he wanted to win. I thought the whole thing was a sham. I voted for Evan McMullin, the Republican from Utah. I had to write-in his vote at the polling booth, because he wasn't even listed on the option list. So on election night I was drinking the wine pretty strong. Talking to my mom (who watches Fox news religiously, like I used to watch ESPN) on the phone, and just watching the numbers keep coming in...And seeing this bozo is going win... She still believes to this day I had a voted for Trump. Cuz I'm a huge Republican. I didn't. I told her and my in-laws (other huge Fox news fans) why I didn't vote for Trump. Like I said before I didn't think him as a Republican, thought his 2016 presidential candidacy was a charade. Now my in-laws and mom jokingly refer to me as Commie Tommy. But I really detest Trump, I think him of as a clown.... However, I do like how his policies have helped the economy. I do like how he's not a true politician. He gets things done. But I can definitely do without his stupid ass tweets. How he continually throws gasoline on the fire. Some people like that, I'm one that doesn't. He actually helps the country/people, but so many people are not willing to see it because he is giving them reasons not to. However, this upcoming election, I might have no choice but to vote for him. And it bothers me because I can't stand him. You know it would not be the worst thing in the world, if Trump gets reelected but he has to step down. Pence takes over and just uses the Trump playbook, but not be Trump like. Win/Win.

I will still watch the games for a little while. I will not spend a penny on merchandise. I can not take much more. We should be America the beautiful, not America the divided.

My problem is the complete lack of respect people have for Presidents if itsn't the guy/lady they voted for. I saw it more than ever with Obama and then it got even worse with Trump. Regardless of who the President is, they represent our country and we should give them as much support and respect as we can. We should want them to succeed so that we all succeed. So many people seem to want to root for them to fail so they can be proven right or something. It doesn't make sense. If the President wins, the country wins, and therefore we win. You don't have to like the man (or woman) to support and respect the office.

I proudly voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and will do it again in November. I can't vote to turn the country over to a demented, socialist son of a bitch like Joe Biden and that fake African-American wench who slept her way up the political ladder.
