I agree.......does this mean we are both racists? lol I grew up in east Texas in the 60s and 70s, and then did law enforcement and corrections for decades. There is no way I could NOT be. I just have enough sense to know when and where you can comment about it. My go-to comment on Facebook posts about race is always #blackbehaviormatters I grew up in East Texas in the 50's and 60's and BLM would have lasted about 5 minutes in the town where I was born and raised. If players walked off and refused to play a sport, their parents would have whipped their asses and made them honor their commitment. |

Did I hear correct that now there is a doubleheader tomorrow? Yes. First game at 3:10. I wonder if they would have done this if fans were allowed at the games? I think not. You are 100% right. If fans had been there this crap would not have happened. |

I am still as pissed off today as I was yesterday. Same.... My wife and I talk this morning, we're just shaking our heads, how out-of-touch people the limelight are, and how they can't see the future ramifications for being so... The ball player should be saying: I'm blessed to be in the position that I am in. I'm here to play baseball: to win for my team, to win for the fans. And I choose to remain private on my stances. For I believe people should make their own decisions, not based on my own. Once again, I am blessed to be here, and I hope we win today's game. |
