Let's go Stros. I will be keeping up with the game here since the Cowboys will be glued to my TV. Go Astros! Go get em Dallas!

Okay calm down, Graterol. It’s just the first inning.

Greinke threw a BP pitch to Pollock. They’ve got to hit Graterol’s mistakes too. A couple of his sliders were ugly.

Name another pitcher who can stretch like that at first base.

In a game we need to win, Dusty puts a half-assed lineup on the field. Diaz sits because "he needs to get off his feet"......bullshit. Tucker has been cold so he sits. That would be OK if Yuli wasn't sitting, too. Now, we have Toro, Mayfield, and Straw all in the game. Add their batting averages together and you may get .500.

Dusty’s biggest mistake was not walking Hernandez. I’m not saying a double play was sure to follow, but it’s good to have a force out on every base for the defense.

I predicted that home run as soon as that piece of shit was called in. Why are they dumb enough to keep him....he is horse shit.

What’s worse to watch, Toro hit or Sneed pitch?

What’s worse to watch, Toro hit or Sneed pitch? It is a tie.......both suck. but, Dusty the Dumbass appears to be too stupid to realize it. Those two plus Mayfield are all disasters.

But last night was the game that was gonna turn things around for the Astros! No, but it was a game that showed that they can still make this a season. Splitting in LA with a depleted team showed a lot for them. Now they have four series' remaining against teams they should beat while resting and getting guys back healthy. (In theory.) With any luck, by the Mariners series we could be at full strength minus Yordan and Osuna.

It just hasn’t happened consistently enough this season. With inconsistent hitting and bad pitching, how can you sustain a run?

It just hasn’t happened consistently enough this season. With inconsistent hitting and bad pitching, how can you sustain a run? They've been streaky all season. If they're in a bad streak now, that bodes well for them having a good streak for the end of the year/postseason. (Provided we can hold on long enough to sneak in at 2nd place.) It's not about necessarily being the best team, otherwise the Dodgers would have been the champions the last few years. It's about enduring the season and then being the hottest team at the right time.

Baker is proving by the day that Crane was dead wrong in hiring him and showed stupidity by rushing to extend his contract. The way for Crane to save face is count his losses, fire Baker at the end of the season, and do whatever possible to bring Hinch back. In any case, dump Baker..he is a loser. Dusty showed how clueless he is by putting Toro, Mayfield, and Straw in the lineup at the same time. Raw speed excluded, Myles Straw makes Jake Marisnick look like Mike Trout.

Don’t look now but the Mariners are a game back of the Astros for the last postseason spot. We have three left in Seattle that we may have to win. If they don't make the playoffs it's nobody's fault but the players with help from a dumbass for a manager.
