Of course I would not blame the loses squarely on Dusty and Altuve, for games 2 and 3....Altuve is basically providing the main offense in this series... Games 2 and 3, if you can't score more than 2 runs, then pitching was not the problem....That trumps Atluve's error or pulling Urquidy...If your team can't score runs, then they won't win....Everything else is meaningless. Yes, we have to put runs on the board. But, errors and poor managerial decisions add to the amount of runs we need to score. Jose has been our most productive hitter, but, he has given away more runs than he produced. So, Altuve should be the Dh?

You will never go so far as to admit that Jose Altuve's throwing errors opened the door to us losing both games two and three. In any case, it is a fact that he opened the gates for the Rays scoring EIGHT of the NINE runs they scored in those games. We had great at bats......the Rays made outstanding defensive plays that robbed us of hits and runs. Deflect it any way you choose.......Altuve blew game two and he and Baker combined to give away game three. If one error in each game was enough to lose the game, then everybody else wasn't doing their jobs either. Weren't you a coach? You should know better... As a coach, I realized the importance of a good defense. I have seen many games lost due to one error. Sometimes, one error opens the door for a big inning when several runs are scored as was the case with Jose's errors in games two and three. He made three total errors.....the first led to a three run homer. Lance pitched around the second one, The error in game three led to a five run inning when the Rays scored all of their runs, Dusty responded by covering up for Jose and putting the blame on Urquidy, who had done his job by getting the batter to hit a ground ball that should have been a DP. We would have had two outs, bases empty, Urquidy still in the game. Jose's throw set up their five run inning.

It is not a bad idea...he seems like he is snake bitten at 2b....which is ironic b/c in the regular season he was flawless....it's a gamble though, if he is put at DH, does it get to him, and effect his ability to hit...keep in mind, he has 5 HRs in the lasts 6 post season games...he is owning the Rays offensively...

Altuve was fine yesterday, but a DH day wouldn't be a bad idea either. Let him rest a bit and put Diaz out there.
