Lance has had a terrific season. How about that money-grubbing shortstop we have? Our thoughts on his future aside, the guy has had a very impressive season. He's had Everett level defense with all-star caliber offense. This is what we were all hoping to see. If he ran a little more like he did early in his career, he'd have even more value. |

IMO -On the old forum, when that major DB, PoP, the alleged English major/writer, didn't know the basic format of a haiku..... And we all made fun of him with numerous haikus, was about the funniest sh*t I have ever seen on forum sites.

Regardless, I am for Correa staying...The higher AAV is no problem, even near the top in the league, so long as it's not a long contact. Would be great if only for 3 years.. If it's anything longer than 5 seasons, then that contract becomes an anchor, so let that ship sail elsewhere. |

But he won't be worth what he gets. If we do re-sign him, that's just the expectations we need to have. |

Thanks for posting that link. That is the article I read. Wanting Correa back and lobbying Crane aren't the same, but, I'm sure Dusty and some players would talk to Crane if they haven't already. I have an idea that Altuve has Crane's ear anytime he wants it, and, there is little doubt what thinks about re-signing Correa. I also don't think Jose is the type who would be offended by any contract Crane offers Carlos. |

All coaches and players say that about any pending free agent. That means hardly anything. I was thinking it was something more meaty. |
