Jose looked stupid standing and taking three strikes with the bat on his shoulder. The bottom of the order has looked better than the top of it tonight.

I don’t know why this just hit me but Castros is starting two games in a row. Has that happened before? And is Maldonado hurt? Maldonado is on bereavement list.

If Raley spends one more day in an Astros uniform, Click should fire himself.

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect different results. Baker if freaking insane. The man has lost his mind. Raley. Really. Total dipshit for a manager. He is embarrassing himself

Raley is just flat awful. Dusty will never learn not to bring Raley in with runners on base.....He ALWAYS allows them to score. One swing and they are back in the game. Our offense has stopped doing anything. All they are doing is striking out and looking bad doing it.

It’s just not who he is. I think he is indecisive at times and too aggressive other times. He had a fantastic bunt for a hit. Straw has sucked tonight.

He is embarrassing himself Dusty is too damn stupid to change anything. He has mishandled pitchers his entire managerial career. He is dumbest SOB to ever have a managing job this long. He was home doing nothing after the Nats fired him and Crane drug him back here to screw us up. He is an embarrassment to himself and the team.

I have to question giving two of our top hitters the night off when Tucker is already out...
Looks good so far though.

Can you imagine being a starter and leaving runners on knowing Raley is coming in. Mr automatic. At least we have one bullpen arm make the all star game. Raley is the designated pitcher for the home run derby.

I think Yuli was just a day off. He originally had Tucker in the lineup but he came up with spasms in the lower back. Maybe he will be back tomorrow. I didn't know Yordan had a wife to be expecting. I knew Carlos and Daniella had announced they were expecting. We were lucky to survive having Garcia at third and Toro playing first base. Robel sucked at third.

There’s not much in the way of ML ready utility infielders in our minor league system at the moment, but I would have to give Alex De Goti a chance. He played a couple games at 2B for the Astros back in April and went 2-6. He has played every infield position plus LF for AAA Sugarland this year. He has got to be better than Robel. Couldn’t be any worse.

Stanek and Taylor battled and survived.

He is not a good defender and an automatic out....most of the time and automatic K. Surely, we have someone at Sugar Land or someone we could get off the waiver wire to replace him. He is the worst excuse for a major league player I've ever seen. He does NOTHING well.

McCormick, Jones, Correa, and Castro all had good games. Until the 9th, Straw had looked horrible. That was a good, solid hit off that flame-thrower. McCormick keeps producing runs when he plays.

Bryan Abreu just made his third rehab appearance at Sugarland. In 3 appearances he has pitched 3.2 innings, allowed 1 ER, struck out 5 and walked none. Can we trust him if we bring him back up?

I would trust him more than Garza, Solomon, or Raley. He can come in and get strikeouts when we need them.

How great would it be if the Astros had a flame-thrower like Claus in the bullpen? 102 mph cutting fastball...

Maybe we can find one in Cuba, Puerto Rica, or somewhere like that.
