I will refrain from asking our fast runners to steal. It’s a lost cause. We have fast runners? I thought he was traded to Cleveland. Meyers., McCormick, and Tucker all have good speed. When is your great manager, that great motivator of men, going to get us out of this crap?? |

Besides his catching, Maldy is as useless as Robel. He is not only the slowest player we've had since Eusebio, he's the laziest when it comes to running out a ground ball. He looks like a damn duck waddling down the first baseline. Carlos Lee was pretty damn slow. He looked like Rickey Henderson compared to this hippo. |

Damn, we were snake bit that inning. Leadoff single from Jose. Michael hits a bullet that ends up in a DP line shot to first base. Then, Carlos drives one to the wall that Taylor catches. No luck for us. In a normal situation, we have two on the board and are still hitting.
