80-57
A good game by Odorizzi today would push him into the "above-average" area for the ERA. Hopefully the bats stay hot and we can gain another game on Seattle.

He has had a couple of pretty good starts against them so maybe it continues. We hit Gilbert in Houston but didn't do much with him in Seattle.

I would go with the same lineup and batting order as yesterday, except I would start Brantley in LF and bat him second; DH Yordan and move Bregman down to 7th in the order between Tucker and Meyers. That said, Meyers is 0-4 with 2 strikeouts vs Gilbert this season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Chas start in CF rather than Meyers.

Obviously Meyers is on fire, but I still think Chas has plenty of value. Honestly, I wish we could move Brantley to the IL for 10 days just to get him some rest before the postseason. Go with a Meyers/Tucker/Chas OF and let Yordan DH. Siri can get some spot starts and Diaz can focus on giving the infield some extra days off down the stretch. I think Altuve should get a couple more days off as well. It obviously did him some good.

Not a good move to sit Meyers right now to play Chas, who has looked horrible since coming back from the IL. I have never liked benching a guy who is hitting no matter who is pitching. I like the idea of moving Bregman to 7th.

Dusty seems to have a knack of taking guys out of the lineup while they are hitting.

I won't be surprised, either. Dusty seems to have a knack of taking guys out of the lineup while they are hitting. Chas in CF. Meyers on the bench. I was afraid of that. Dusty loves to bench guys who are hitting for some unknown reason. Let's hope it doesn't backfire. Meyers has earned the right to start in CF. Bregman has NOT earned the right to go back to the three spot. \ Jake gets us a 5.-0 lead with a three run bomb, drives in another run, plays an excellent CF and is rewarded by being benched. Typical move for Dusty. I am not down on Chas by any means, and, it isn't his fault he was injured and on the IL. But, Meyers has earned the right to play every day. It makes no sense to bench him while he is being productive since Chas has not looked good in the few AB's he's had since coming back.

About time they put the Great Bregman back in the 3 hole. Thank you, Mr. Baker. The best player on the team should always bat in the 3 hole.
