Man, the MVP is looking great. damn right........Correa has had a hell of a game.........Jose and Breggie have, too. Jose's defense is much better this year. That was an outstanding play he made to prevent a hit.

Good job by the pen tonight cleaning up Framber's mess. Good to see our hitters hammer Ohtani....That was the highlight of the night.
We are normally a great defensive team but the defense sucked tonight.........four errors. I don't remember the last time Jose, Bregman, and Correa all had three hits in the same game. Bregman is looking like his old self. I hope he keeps it up.
I trust Meyers is back in the lineup tomorrow.

Storm getting ready to give up the lead Framber hasn't looked like his mind was in this game from the beginning. That crap needs to be corrected. Corrected by whom?

Framber hasn't looked like his mind was in this game from the beginning. That crap needs to be corrected. Corrected by whom? Since the problem is between his ears, he needs to correct. I know you are trying to take another shot at Strom, but, Strom has no control over what is going on in his head. He showed a lack of concentration and was just plain sloppy. At least, he didn't seem to let errors bother him. Before tonight, he had given up ONE home run to a left-handed hitter in 225 innings. He gave up two in the first two innings. Correcting the kind of problem he had tonight has to come mostly from him with help from Strom. Personally, I think Strom needs to give him a good ass chewing.

Brooks Raley has a 3.05 ERA from June 1st to right now. All the inherited runners he allows to score get charged to the pitcher he replaces. I would never bring Raley in with runners on base.

If Raley comes in there with guys on second and third with a left handed hitter up and one out he would more often than not strike the lefty out and give up a double to the right handed hitter that followed the lefty. My problem with Raley has always been that Baker sees that situation and like a moth to a flame he calls on Raley, then gets back to the dugout and then remembers the guy has to face three hitters. Raley starting an inning has an reasonable expectation for good results. Raley coming in with runners on and most of those runners score.

Have to admit, Raley is showing signs of improvement. I still wouldn't bring him in with runners on base.

Raley is a lefthanded specialist. The problem is that job doesn’t exist anymore.

So good to have Bregman back. It's fortunate he wasn't rushed back before his quad stopped barking. That could've led to more problems we can't afford to take on right now

Raley is a lefthanded specialist. The problem is that job doesn’t exist anymore. And that is why I hate this ridiculous rule that forces a manager to keep a reliever in to face at least three hitters or finish an inning.

Only Correa when on fire has comparable power and patience. Bregman is the best hitter on the team, though.
