Why did Dusty start this piece of crap? Damn it, Dusty... Who was he going to start? He had to pick between Bielak, Solomon, or Javier. I hope we see Solomon. But the idiot picked Bielak. I would rather start Alvarez.

Only an idiot calls for a sac bunt with Maldonado coming up to drive in the runs. LMAO. I thought he would have the brains to use Castro to pinch hit, but, I should have known the dumbass wouldn't do it. Using a sac bunt to bring a .175 hitter to the plate. LOL LOL LOL

Why on earth do you bunt runners into scoring position for Maldy? Why?

It’s as if they’re being punished for not pinch hitting for Maldonado.

One thing is for sure, Dusty can’t sit there and let a reliever slowly hang himself like Hinch did. The bullpen isn’t as good as in years past.

Comparing the managers......look in the A's dugout and there is Melvin looking like a manager who is paying attention. Then, look into the Astros dugout and you see Dusty Baker with a pullover on complete with a hood and his trusty mask so that he peeps out at the game. He looks like a clown.

I saw an article on the Astros website yesterday in which Dusty was quoted as saying he wants to return next season. If the Astros manage to win the WS in spite of him this season, you can bet that he will be back next year. That thought is enough to make one want to see the Astros lose in the first round.

What worries me is not so much as them losing but how they lose. They can play like this all they want if the division is wrapped up, but the A’s are technically in the division race still if the Astros don’t win a game. The Mariners are three Astro wins from being eliminated as well. Why was it that Altuve was the only one who showed up yesterday? They can’t go through six innings on one hit and expect to compete like they luckily did yesterday (until the wheels fell off). They’ve often done little to nothing to starters and waited to feast on relievers, and that’s not a great plan of action. I’m not going to go into why someone pinch hit for Maldonado when it was 14-2 instead of 3-2 but that’s self-explanatory.

Why on earth do you bunt runners into scoring position for Maldy? Why? After watching the game on DVR just now, had to stop by just for this very moment. Talented young hitter in Jake Meyers, give up an out by having him bunt runners into scoring position for Maldonado? And actually let Maldonado hit for himself, instead of PHing with Castro, who has been nails in clutch, off-the-bench situations this year. Absolute madness. Six wins below X-W/L and we know why; manager can't get out of his own way.

Don't worry; there is zero chance this team beats the Dodgers, Giants, Rays, or Brewers in an extended series. Dusty's management, especially of the pen, will see to that.

If Crane allows him to return, he doesn't care about winning titles.
