I think it was as classy of Cora as it was unclassy of Correa. I won’t miss that bullshit when Correa is gone. Me, neither. I'd rather have a SS about half as good as Correa who doesn't do stuff like tapping his wrist. LOL We have some who were fine with Keuchel sticking his bare ass in front of an ESPN camera, Bregman putting peroxide on his hair and strutting in front of the dugout camera, and a manager who wears a BLM shirt during interviews after dressing like a circus clown for games. But, we can't stand an elite SS who is a clutch hitter because he dares to tap his wrist to indicate it's his time. Damn, Correa. I would not let him play the rest of the season. LOL

I won’t miss that bullshit when Correa is gone. Yeah the ego has certainly grown as he has aged. I understand he has evolved into a leader on this team, but I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing (outside of sticking up for Altuve and his non-involvement with the sign-stealing). One full season in half a decade and suddenly he thinks he's Godzilla. I wish we had a few more with a little swagger instead of letting fans get in their head and making them look like lapdogs.

Did y'all see where Cora yelled at his pitcher last night for doing the "tap my watch like an idiot" when he struck out Correa? What did you think about that? I think Cora also realizes that his team is WS bound, and there was no need of getting any of his players hurt in a bean ball war. Smart to de-escalate this quickly.

Dusty: Again, not showing up another team or boasting. I don't think the wristwatch thing was a huge deal, but I'm never a fan of showboating on the field like that. It's the wave of the future for baseball, but I still don't like it.

Boston has won two games. Half of what they need. I still think the Astros aren't done. Boston has been EXTREMELY lucky. They've made some catches they don't ordinarily make. The grand slams? The difference between a HR and a flyout is fractions of a millimeter. The double play ball that Altuve doinked was a bad hop that came at exactly the wrong time. In short, Boston is playing over their heads and it will not continue. It could possibly be after they get through dismantling Houston before they come crashing to earth, but they will crash. The luck will run out. Boston isn't this good and Houston isn't anywhere near this bad. We'll all see.

I'm trying to be positive today after being very deflated yesterday. They just need to get a nice lead early to break this funk and give them confidence.

In normal times we'd have a natural leader on this team, and there would be some kind of come to Jesus pow wow, to get this team refocused.
My vote would be for electro-shot to a couple of them, but that's me.

I didn't see it as it happened but heard about it after the fact. I think if a player has been showboating he's fair game for being mocked when he fails. That said, it seems Cora wants his players to be more dignified and forego the mocking. I applaud him for that.

Can Correa transfer some of his swagger to Bregman? He looks like a wounded dog most of the time.

Tapping your wrist while trotting your ass toward first base in one thing, but tapping your wrist while standing at home plate for 30 seconds is something else. Correa did the latter.

Charlie Morton gave up 2 runs to the Dodgers in the first. Since then, he has settled down and Atlanta has taken a 4-2 lead. Bottom of the 4th right now. Beat the Dodgers!

He is through 4 innings and has already thrown 87 pitches. I hope Atlanta has a shut down bullpen.

I doubt they'll have the slightest concern about him throwing more than 100 pitches tonight. And it looks like the Braves are adding to their lead.

Absolute minimal stress on any muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones.... I think he could pitch till 50 if he wanted.

Through five complete: Braves ahead 5-2 96 pitches for Charlie.
I'd send him out to start the bottom of the 6th.

Unless Greinke picks it up this has the feeling as another night of poor baseball We have the worst starting rotation in the playoffs. Every team that made it had a better pitching rotation. I know we beat the White Sox, but their rotation is superior to ours. We have to sign some pitching this winter.
