Why didn't Martin just wait it out? I would rather take the chance of a walk at that point. Like usual a lazy fly ball for an out with men on 2nd and 3rd

Man, I am bummed the Dodgers came back and won that game today. Feels like it could be a turning point in that series. If Atlanta went up 3-0 the series was likely over.

As poorly as things have gone for the Astros and as well as things have gone for the Red Sox in this series, the fact that the series is tied at 2-2 is mind boggling. I think Tal was absolutely right about Boston though. They were riding a major high playing over their heads. They were due for some regression and our team was due to get going again. A couple big swings and a little luck has really been the difference in all of these blowouts. |

Jeff Passan had nothing to say about Tom Hallion screwing the Astros multiple times in Game 3 last week but he wrote a whole column about one bad pitch from Laz Diaz against the Red Sox It's been awhile since I have railed against the Media and COB Office Sports Cabal that has such criminal bias for anything favoring the east and west coasts. But I can see that sect is alive and well. I hope the team ignores the press hypocrisy, and just beats the shit out the BoSox. |

Like I mentioned earlier.... what a roller coaster. We've gone from yesterday early game thinking this thing might end today in Boston, to now....... A best 2 of 3, and two of those thee at home.

Through 4 games .....
Starter era- 17.39
Reliever era- 3.62
If someone would have told you that your starters would have over a 17 era at this point? I'd guessed a sweep had happened.

So I was talking with my dad about the game last night, and he brought up a good point. Before the game Strom mentioned that they believed the pitchers may have been tipping their pitches or something. Then suddenly, boom, only two runs allowed.
I wonder if they figured something out with that and were able to correct it?

So far, the young OF trio of Chas-Meyers-Siri is hitting a combined .346 during this postseason. Without Siri's random useless start, Chas and Meyers are hitting .391.
P.S. And it should be mentioned, Tucker is younger than all of them is hitting .281 with a .928 OPS and 12 RBI in 8 games.

Tucker could be an future batting champion and MVP. The other two could team with him for a solid OF for years to come. Siri can be a fourth outfielder or be used in a trade.
