The fact that they all got together and unanimously agreed that Grandal wasn’t intentionally impairing the throw home was laughable.

Gurriel has got to step it up. He’s looking very 2020 thus far in the postseason.

Gurriel has got to step it up. He’s looking very 2020 thus far in the postseason. Yes, I agree. I'd feel better if somebody would kidnap Dusty until the post season is over. When given options on what pitcher to bring in, he always makes the wrong move. Bringing in Yimi Garcia took us completely out of the game. Then, he pulls Stanek with two outs in the 8th and brings in Raley to give up three more runs. Our hitters struck out 16 times. You'd think the White Sox had just won the WS the way the players and fans are acting. We will still win the series.

Earlier in the season at this park, Rodón and Giolito laid waste to our hitters.

His velocity is also down. I suppose Urquidy starts for us. The pressure is still on them.

Bringing Yimi Garcia when he did made no sense. Luis Garcia had a 2-0 count on the hitter when Dusty pulled him, which means the hitter would be looking for a fastball from the reliever to get back in the count. He sat on the fastball and Yimi gave him one that was center cut that he hit over 400 feet. Then, he left him in to start the next inning to create the mess that took us out of the game. Javier and Stanek both did good jobs.

IMO if Urquidy had started game 3, or if Dusty had brought in Greinke to relieve Cha Cha, we would not be looking at a game 4.

I'd have gone with Urquidy and Yimi is the last one I would have brought in to finish the AB for Garia. I just hope we can overcome Dusty's bullshit and win the series.

I might be the biggest Baker Hater on this forum, and have been out of action. But if last night was an example how he managed bullpens this season, no wonder they stink, Dustbag has alway been ass tier in pitching situational managment. Didn't expect that would change by putting an H and and Star on his cap.

LOL In this game, we saw the prime example of how he has always handled a bullpen which is why I never wanted him to manage this team. He always makes the wrong move with the bullpen. Bringing Yimi in cost us any chance we had of winning.

Bringing Yimi in cost us any chance we had of winning. Not only bullpen, but pitchers in general. Hell, he's even listed in the Urban Dictionary.... pulling a Dusty In major league baseball, the act of letting a young pitcher throw too many pitches in a given start. In reference to Chicago Cub manager Dusty Baker who has a reputation of recklessly letting young pitchers throw too many pitches, thus putting their long term health in jeopardy (ex. Mark Prior, Kerry Wood). Jim Leyland was pulling a Dusty by letting Justin Verlander throw 175 pitches in his last start.

Letting Yimi pitch a second inning was inexcusable. Isn’t Maton his go-to reliever anyway?

The White Sox had some very lucky breaks to go up after the 6-6 tie. Hopefully they're motivated tomorrow against Rodon especially after both he (and Tep) have made comments about the 2017 stuff. I'd rather not have it even come back to Houston. Finish it now and don't leave everything up to a final game.
Altuve and Yuli, start getting some hits.

Altuve and Yuli, start getting some hits. Altuve only has 2 hits in 11 AB for the series but he has 4 walks and crossed the plate 5 times (that's the most by anyone on the Astros). That's not awful. Yuli has 1 hit in 12 AB and no walks. To his credit he does have 2 RBI. He needs to step up his game.

But it would be nice to see him push out a couple doubles or a HR or something. He's not having bad ABs though. Yuli, on the other hand, has not looked good at all at the plate...

At least Jose has drawn some walks.

Ya never know. All things considered the offense has been very good so far. No complaints from me.
