They will win at least one of the next two, MLB needs a longer series to raise revenues more. I don't think they want the Astros to win. Especially with the Ump behind the plate calling the garbage, he did all night.

Had outstanding pitching and the offense had it's most pathetic effort of the season. Terrible from top to bottom. The hit from Bregman in the 9th was one of the few good AB's we had in the game. We lost game three of both the ALDS and ALCS so we are due a win tomorrow night. I still think we win this series. I don't think we'll stink this bad again in this series.
Right now, Altuve, Bregman, Correa, and Alvarez are a combined 5-40 in the WS. Things can't get much worse.

Pathetic situational hitting early on against Anderson. The guy couldn't throw a strike, and if Hallion had called at least a equitable game, we should have had at least 8 walks and at least 3 runs by the 4th.
Got to give kudos to our pitching staff. They pitched more than well enough for the team to get a "W"
But the theme tonight is..... freakin' only swing at something near or in the strike zone.
OTOH, the idiotic Fox pundits are writing us off, just like they did after the 3 slams in Games 2/3 of the NLCS.

I’d rather he force the issue and beat the shift the way he did than puss out and walk again like he usually tries to do. The guy bats third but hits like freakin Willy Taveras. That was an encouraging moment for me and the only smart looking swing they had all game unlike that first joke of a hit. |
