Ranking of Astros best relievers of all-time? 1. Wagner 2. ? Top 10 in WAR all time: Billy Wagner Dave Smith Brad Lidge Octavio Dotel Larry Anderson Joe Sambito Ryan Pressly Will Harris Ken Giles Dan Wheeler Chris Devenski is 11th, believe it or not. Devenski had two outstanding years to start his career. I wonder what happened to that guy and why Strom couldn't fix him...

Honestly, he hadn’t done crap since that pop up homer against Boston in Game 1. I am so glad the Astros didn't up the offer to within range of Carlos' demands. Carlos might regret not taking the Tigers' offer I still wish we got to see how Peña and Correa together would’ve been.

When I was a kid Sambito had a horrible September one season and finished it off by losing a playoff game at Dodger stadium. I usually remember that more than his career which is probably unfair to him

We've had so many closers and set-up men fail us in the postseason I hardly emoted by the time Giles and Gregerson were doing it. I remember one year Wagner had this great season and then wasn't available to pitch in October cause he was hurt

The scrolling bar thingy that had messages on it. Oh, I dunno. The code might have crashed. I'll check later if I remember.

It must suck being a Tigers fan now. Now? Dude, we've been in Hooverville for years. 💩Actually, this year will probably be sorta good but that was hard to watch.

Dierk got canned cause he went to Mike Jackson in that game even though Dotel's top 10 in WAR in team history. Over-managing the pen like that has a tendency to cause the subsequent relievers to bomb, cause they're still scratching their heads wth did the manager do that

So far this year the Astros are 2 games over 500 on the road. The only American League team more than 2 games over are the Yankees and they are just riding a hot streak. Are hitters are hitting horrible and we are winning on the road. That is a real good sign.

That's tougher than people think.... The quick answer is Springer, but, if Straw continues at this level for the price, that would be really good too. Especially since George is injury prone. I would also consider Cole but he's just so damn expensive for so long...
