Has a little faith been restored? I wasn't super concerned this year because it hadn't been that many games before his IL stint. I will say that I'm happily surprised at how good he looks now. I thought maybe he would struggle for a bit longer before getting going. You can see him trying to spray the ball around better, and he's running well. Yuli is the one I'm losing faith in. You get as negative on Altuve as I do on Maldonado.

It's different kinds of negativities though. Maldonado sucks and I hate him. Altuve slumps and I vent, because my happiness partially hinges on how well he plays.

He comes back. Maldonado and also Castro are just free outs.

We will need to trade one of these arms come July, figuring out the correct one is the challenge. You are right about that. The quality of our farm system is at a pre-Luhnow level. Not much in the way of decent position player prospects to deal outside of Leon and Lee and they aren’t exactly setting the world on fire. There are a few good arms though.

I know you disagree but to me the weak link is Urquidy. Also he would have more value than Javier. Brown is the other possibility but as Ash pointed out earlier he still has not mastered his control.

Staff ERA last 14 days 1. LAD 1.86 2. HOU 2.20 3. CHW 2.45 4. NYY 2.69 5. TEX 2.73
I'm concerned about this pitcher we're facing with the Twins tomorrow. Your concerns and his teammates wanting Altuve to bat first have a lot to do with each other in all likelihood. He likes to chat up what he sees after his at-bats which is probably why the team scuffles so bad when he's not in the lineup

So how long do you think it will be before they start turning down the humidity readings in the humidor. 3.58 runs per game would normally get you laughed at instead of battling for the league lead. Each GM probly got a letter from the commish sayin not to eff with the humidors. But the matter may be reviewed if the Dodgers, Mets and Yankees fall from the top of the standings

Monstrous start for Yordan. He is one of the few players strong enough to hit the mush melons they are throwing up there hard consistently

I guess they can't because of his last three starts, but Odorizzi actually still has worse overall numbers (basically Urquidy but without a good walk rate). Odorizzi has had two bad games, but so has Urquidy. I really can't say Urquidy needs to be demoted over Odorizzi.

It’s like a band called “Chas! featuring the Other Guys” Of course McCormick, but I do see the value in Diaz. Siri is Dusty's infatuation, so we're stuck with him. However, at least he would be a good PR. But the guy is a knucklehead, I fear he will do something extremely foolish in a key situation. To me, come trade deadline, both Goodrum and Castro are dead weight to the team. Astros already have Maldonado that sucks at the plate, so need to have 2 catchers that can't hit. Pena is the starter and Diaz is the super utility player, and so long as Meyers can play, Goodrum needs to be gone.

The concerns can't be answered yet Meyers needs to be back for atleast ten games. But the holes I see is Castro he poo. And Goodrum idk he is just a guy. Siri has a long rope .
Diaz is balanced but when will the next freak accident happen?
McCormick is a 4th OF guy who hits decently and is trying his damndest to keep his spot in the lineup.
Your hole of holes is Yuli with Brantley slowly catching him. We need more power to protect Yuli and someone who can hit for better average with some pop
