I am hoping we are at page 13, by the time the game starts

However, it's a Friday night game

So maybe a little more than 13

Because I am wondering how active the board will be on a Friday night game.

The Astros should have more younger players bring contributors next year.
Younger players taking more of an active role: K Lee, Y Diaz, Hensley, Brown and maybe Leon.
Players I'm pretty sure are not coming back next year: A Diaz, Mancini, J Castro, Will Smith and Montero. Unsure about Dubon and Maton, because they're a cheap.
So, I hope the Astros can re-sign Yuli and/or Brantley, to be more of mentors for the younger group. Pitching wise, I hope the Astros re-sign Verlander. Montero would be nice, but the Astros have a knack of getting pitchers like him at a lower price than he will be seeking in 2023 and beyond.

If both Brantley and Yuli will take cheaper one year deals w/ a 2nd year team option, then I would be for keeping them. However, I could see Brantley signing elsewhere. I think many teams will be interested in him. So, the Astros might get outbid easily. Yuli, I really don't see leaving, unless he is intrigued by playing with his brother up in Toronto.

It would be nice for us to dominate at home during a WS finally also.

Has it been announced yet, for who is pitching for the Phillies in game 1?
If it's Nola, I hope Mancini is not the DH...0-5, with 2ks against him. And it's DH, so why not put up Hensley? I think those who have said this before are right.

Who do we think wins the World Series MVP when the Astros win?
I'd love to see Altuve win after his struggles this postseason (like Springer in 2017), but I'm going to go with Tucker.
I think Tucker wakes up and hits 3-4 big HRs in key situations.

I know this will never happen. But it would be hilarious if the Astro sign Judge. Could you imagine the s*** show would happen in New York City?
Talk about the ultimate betrayal. For the Yankees that would fall between Brute and Judas level
Cashman's head would be on a pike.

With player opt out options after each season, beginning after Season 2.

The trick for the Astros is to get Nola and Wheeler's pitch counts up as quick as possible. Limit first pitch swings to your sweet spots. If we can draw them in with patience and get their average pitch count to 4.25 whip to at least 1.25 then we got this. That would limit both guys to 5 innings and let us get into their bullpens for a couple of times through our order.

My love for Dusty is because he is a true student of the game. I want him to win this season and retire with a title.

He seems to work deeper counts.

Similar to how we handled Cole, get Nola and Wheeler's pitch counts up to 100 by inning 5/6. Our starters will keep it close, then punish their bullpen! The good news is, Phillies bullpen is far inferior to New York's so we want to get in to that bullpen.

By the end of the fourth inning, we want the Philly pitchers to be somewhere in the 80s, on their pitch counts
