I'm a little surprised to hear that about playing to age 40. I don't know why, but I felt he might only give it a few more years.

I just have a feeling Altuve is going to play as long as he can in the MLB. And when he can’t make a team anymore, he will be playing for some international team. He just seems like a guy that loves the game of baseball so much. |

Villar. Bad year last year, but solid 2021. Give him a million and move on.
He can backup all of the infield while Hensley plays 2B full-time. No Dubon.
Chas, Tucker, Yordan, Dirden, and Meyers in the OF (until Brantley comes back).

There is an article on MLBTR today that says that Miami is leaning towards carrying just one of Yuli or Jose Iglesias on the opening day roster and that Yuli may have the advantage. If Iglesias is not added to their roster and he opts out of his minor league deal with Miami, Brown should be all over him to sign a ML deal with Houston.

I'm putting my focus this year on Bregman. This is his year to bounce back if he thinks he's deserving of a big extension (as he has hinted he deserves).
There were rumors that they were stealing signs thru 2019, and, while he has been good since 2019, he's never been close to AS good since the scandal broke after 2019. He needs to prove to the baseball world that he was good despite the scandal, imo. Altuve has done so both the last two years.
Is he truly an elite player, or just a good player? Can he be 2018-2019 guy, or is last year the best he can do now (good not elite)?
