106mph for Abreu. The hard hit contact is going up quickly. He'll get there.

Sorry, MLB. You couldn't give the Braves that game with the shitty umping in the 9th.

Can you believe it? Save no. 1 for Pressly.

Brown gave up more contact than normal, but it was good to see him settle down and not explode after the bad first inning. Good mental makeup for the young guy. And Maton is looking damn good. Neris and Pressly did what they're should, and most of the offense contributed or had some good contact.
Things continue to look up.

This feels like an important moment for so early in the season.

That game was just incredible. And I slept through most of it because I got frustrated by the buffering and the Astros looking shitty the first few innings.

If Dubón continues to contribute with his bat, we may have to consider Altuve being mostly a DH. He's my favorite Astro and all, but the utility guy's got a better arm and glovework

I was thinking that Hensley would be the guy to replace A. Diaz this season. Looking like Dubon is the guy now.
With Meyers beginning to contribute with the bat, I’m thinking Salazar will be sent down when Brantley is activated. It may be Hensley who gets sent down when Altuve is activated.

I really wanted Hensley to succeed, but results are results. Dubon and Meyers look better than Hensley right now at the plate, and they're better defensively.

If Brantley is healthy and swinging the bat well, then Dubón probably goes back to taking PT away from Chas (when Tuve returns). So it wouldn't be an issue

He's my favorite Astro and all, but the utility guy's got a better arm and glovework So you've convinced yourself that Dubon's bat is going to remain so strong that his defense will outweigh the value of Altuve on the field? Heh.
