two more votes, and then hopefully it is a "No Go" for wintermute/ghick. Can we just go ahead and vote him off the island before he shows up? Bortaz should say no....so just one more no...if we are going 5 out of 7.

Was anyone torn last night between the Angels and Indians...For the Astros, you would think the Angels winning was better for them, because Cleveland stands to be the bigger threat in the AL....but the Angels are division team and their fans are tools...so which team did you want to lose?

Yes it was, but I still think the Indians are the No. 2 team in the AL, behind the Astros....

I think too many people are sleeping on the Angels. Even though they have a dinosaur at first base, he still has good pop. Their lineup is absolutely loaded. Besides the starting pitching (Richards and Ohtani can be a good 1-2), they can stand up to the Astros and maybe win a couple games. Their major flaws are: - Richards avoided TJS but for how long? - How long will their 6-man rotation work? - How long can they rely on a pitcher being their DH? - Who is their closer?

If Pujols can play a decent 1B for them, their defense should be much improved from last season as well with the addition of Cozart at 3B and Kinsler at 2B

If Cozart pans out at 3B, that’ll be the best defensive infield in baseball.

I think if both Calhoun and Skaggs can breakout then the Angels will be above. 500 team, maybe 87-88 wins...if not, then they are 78-81 win team...their team is just littered with older players or ones that are very susceptible to injuries...

I think the Angels are an 85-87 win team with Ohtani being less than rookie of the year good. If he is rookie of the year good then maybe they end of 87-90. Having said that we should still win the division by 20 games and if we play them in the playoffs they do not scare me, ....much.

Not only do they have Upton, Kinsler, Ohtani, and Cozart now, but they also have MIKE TROUT. Pujols, Simmons, Calhoun, and Maldonado are all decent support players as well. They are loaded. Imagine if they acquired a closer somehow to top it off.

The Angels are good as of today but they don't have the organizational depth that the Astros due. A likely scenario is that they will stay within a few games of the Astros in the first half of the season, but then as injuries take their toll and the Angels have to use substandard players as replacements, the AStros will pull away with the division in the last couple months.

Not trying to jinx the Astros, but I think the Angels will have its fair share of injuries...and then their fans will be clamoring the "what if" game...I think the Mariners will give them a run for the money for 2nd place in the AL West.

Looking at the standings, I am happy Cleveland is at .500, the bad thing is they are in a relatively week division, with the Twins being their only true competition. Therefore, I think the Indians will win the AL Central and be in the playoffs....they are better than their record, and not a team you want to face in the playoffs....I am glad the Yankees beat them...

The Angels lack SP depth. They can be a winning team, but it's doubtful they'll have the stamina to keep up if we stay healthy. I don't care who wins the AL Central as long as we get a chance to take more bites out of the AL East this postseason.
And then the Cubs in the WS...

Cussing should be allowed...Along as it used in good taste....meaning not cruel...slapstick ok, fun little jabs, sure...but not to the point you are being Andrew Dice Clay.... I'm personally opposed to profanity. But I do like using the abbreviation for SS which is on some cussword lists.
