That was the Framber who won two WS games last year.

I'm not jumping on Crane yet, but this off-season is definitely looking like a bust so far. No right decisions yet... He chose to fire his GM before making moves. It’s on him. I don’t care what they say about Reggie and Bagwell. I don't see why he couldn't have worked out his differences with Click. Or why he needed to have a pissing contest with him over Meyers. Seems to me Click won that argument by way of him being gone and Meyers being on the 25-man

I can understand wanting a GM more your style, but when you've had success why mix it up? That's why even though I don't like Dusty and would prefer someone else, I also can't blame them for keeping him. He has back to back pennants and a championship...why mess with a good thing? Of course that reasoning is also partially why I believe they overpaid to keep Montero even though it appeared fairly obvious that he had a career year and we should move on.

Montero was shaky as the season progressed. Pressly had to rescue him after almost blowing Game 5, and they rewarded him with $43.5 million. Not much of the offseason makes sense really. I would get the Abreu deal had he not shown such a power outage. However, I still agree with letting Gurriel go.
