I have been saying it since the day they traded for Diaz that the kid is going to be something and was the target in that trade. Dusty and Brown need to take the Rangers seriously and field the best team that they can each and every night. The Rangers are legit. Powderpuff schedule aside, they have the second best record in baseball against winning teams. |

I have been talking to a couple of guys here that are Yankee and Met fans and they are saying it is going to be tough for the Astros to overtake the Rangers unless they fall apart.

These are the top 6 hitters for the Rangers and of these 5 of them are having a crazy good start to the year based upon what one would normally expect from that hitter.
So next the starting pitchers for the Rangers. The first column is the current era and the second is their era over all their years in the majors

Gray. 2.51 4.38
Heaney. 4.03. 4.52

These are the starting 5 pitchers for the Rangers. All are preforming way above their expected levels.
Bottom line is that it is almost impossible for these guys to continue at their current levels. However stranger things have happened. We are 37% through the year and they are not slowing down. So yeah they have to be taken seriously. They are no longer are little brother.
