Key pieces vs. Anderson: Martin Maldonado (.600 in 5 AB), Jose Abreu (.400 in 5 AB). Altuve is 1-for-2 against him, none of our other hitters have faced him.
xFIP has concerns about France due to his lack of strikeouts and the fact that he gives up some hard contact. On the other hand, his HR/FB% is nearly 20%, so if that comes down and he starts getting some swings and misses, there will be a lot more hope that he can keep up his success long-term.
Interestingly, going over Anderson's numbers, he shockingly comparable to France, in his stuff, his pitch mix, strikeouts, walks, ground ball rate, and more. Should be an interesting matchup.
