The logic on taking France out is probably "we got 7 great innings out of him. Let's look for opportunities like this to limit his pitch count to help him get through the rest of the season and post-season." I don't necessarily disagree. Who are we going to go to more often than normal during the postseason? Our good relievers. They're desperate for some rest. |
