Hunter Brown: 4.07 ERA
There's been some poor luck; Brown sports a 3.32 xFIP. His BAbip is a little high and his HR/FB ratio is high as well. For a guy who strikes out more than a batter per inning while also getting over 50% ground balls, he's given up an unusual number of long balls. Hopefully Diaz is catching, as the results have been better with him back there (not to mention the bat, of course).
Four Baltimore hitters have a single AB against Brown, nothing worth speaking of in that regard.

Dean Kremer: 4.61 ERA
Kremer is a bit similar; he also misses some bats (not as many) and doesn't walk too many. Sits around 95 MPH so the stuff is there. He doesn't get grounders though. 4.43 is the xFIP.
Our guys have seen him a bit. Altuve is 4-for-7 against him most notably. McCormick, Abreu, and Singleton are all 1-for-3 against him. On the flip side, Bregman is 0-for-7, Pena 0-for-4, Tucker 0-for-3.
Let's get that sweep. Considering the schedule for this first third of August, 7-2 would be a huge start to the month.

Not to nitpick but if Altuve would’ve looked at Pettis instead of the play, he might’ve been able to score. Why would you care about the play behind you if there are two outs? This has always been my main gripe with the baserunning.

Dubon had a 68 wRC+ against RHP coming into this game. I just can't fathom why Dusty keeps throwing him out there against them when there are other options. Even Meyers is better (81) plus the elite range.
Fun fact, just found out that Meyers has a 170 wRC+ against LHP. Any time he's not in there against a lefty is silly.
