They might have to go for the wild card. They don’t deserve the division more than the Mariners. There’s just no excuse for this level of play. They have so many star hitters and managed ONE HIT. They don’t deserve the postseason right now. |

Losses like this where we grind all game just to lose at the end, I'm hopeful with Dusty being the manager. Cause he's right about not letting defeat defeat you. But he may have already lost the clubhouse with some of his moves this season like Cooper and Porter used to do

This game proves why. They just can’t handle pressure games. They needed to crush NYY. They split. They could’ve easily won the Boston series. They needed to make a statement against Seattle. Tonight’s game was like the postseason for them even though it was against the lowly Tigers. They are just not mentally strong enough this season. The postseason would only magnify this deficiency. On top of all that, they have Brantley not wanting to come back to help. You can’t make this stuff up. |

This offense has lost the ability to smash pitches in the zone. Hinch's formula's always been a steady diet of offspeed to induce soft contact. We didn't work counts like we're capable tonight. Probly cause we were itching to score 17 runs |

We were six-deep in the rotation and the bats were a season removed from ranking #1 w/RISP. The offense is still close to the top 5 with that stat the last time I checked |
