I’m with Fiers on this one. Anyone who steps into the batter’s box knows the risk for injury. Fiers never did anything intentional to Stanton nor is he a “brushback pitcher” with his 88 mph heat. I get the bat flip (though I’m not big on that stuff), but pointing at Fiers really was childish. It’s not like it’s hard to homer off the guy. Correct, Fiers is like Oprah - You get a Homer! You get a Homer! You get a Homer! Everyone is Getting a Homer!!! Taunting Fiers after a HR is like laughing at a fat, uncoordinated kid trying to break dance. It's funny at first but after awhile it just becomes sad! |
