The Stros gave the Red Sox a beating, looking to the Rangers series. The Yankees looked like a walk over. |

I'm trying to stay positive because this team has been so good and has overcome a lot over the past few years... But a series like this with some of the inexplicable moves and comments by Dusty makes this season feel more in disarray than in the past.
There doesn't feel like a stabilizing presence. It's the players struggling against themselves while trying to carry Dusty, and then it's Dusty fighting the fans.
It feels like a power struggle is going on when there doesn't need to be one. It's weird and hard to explain.

Dusty isn’t the best manager. Everyone knows this. However, the stars he did put out there did basically nothing: Altuve, Bregman, Álvarez, and Tucker. If you throw in Brantley, Jasson Dominguez out-homered them all. This team should just be embarrassed. Right now, it looks like they’re planning for the Mariners and Rangers to go winless the rest of the season.
