I told Sherwin the other day...I just will never love Pressly.

It should have been a Mushinski inning.

I know he doesn't walk, but Diaz is a fun hitter to watch. You don't have to walk when you can hit.

We're giving guys "work" because they haven't been used in a while, when we left them on the bench when we were down a few runs yesterday....

Ah well got the win. Needed it. Some encouraging signs from the offense.

Look at it as a confidence builder! Let's see him spin it against Kansas City. Oh wait, they're not a real opponent either

Another series that the whole team better have their head straight on the right way.

I don’t agree with it either. The kids gotta sink or swim. Let him go another inning or two. We're coddling young arms too much. We’re coddling that seldom used closer of ours too.

Then he does need to hit over .300. no he doesn't. See that's the thing Bregman never gets much credit for. His power comes and goes when he's on hot streaks, but, due to his plate discipline, even when he slumps he at least gets on base. If Diaz can't get on base when he slumps, hopefully the power rarely fades.

If Diaz can't get on base when he slumps, hopefully the power rarely fades. Bregman is a tweener. He would be an excellent leadoff hitter, but he’s barely faster than Maldonado. He also pulls the ball too much to be a good 2-hitter. They feel the need to bat him at cleanup when his best power days are long behind him. Honestly, if he leaves after next season, the Astros will definitely miss his defense. Even playing out of position, he does circles around the other infielders with his range and glove.
