Game 3 is a big one, and on paper it should be in the Twins' favor from a pitching match-up standpoint. Dusty really needs to lengthen the lineup on this one and give Diaz a start.
Altuve 2B
Brantley LF
Yordan DH
Bregman 3B
Tucker RF
Diaz C
Chas CF
Pena SS
Dubon 1B
It won't happen, but that's what I would do.

One thing I’ll agree with Dusty Haters is the dumbass Díaz at DH thing. So, they’re really okay with punting the DH if Maldonado ever gets pulled?

We need our offense to get off to a hot start. If we can score 2-3 runs in the first, I think that will put us in a good spot. The winner of the first 5 innings I believe wins this game. After 5 innings you start getting the brutal shadows at Target field, which benefits pitchers.

I’m talking bunts and squeeze plays, hit and runs, steals, sac flies, Pettis not holding up runners as if the offense easily drives in runners, etc. |

I'd like to see us amp the aggressiveness. If we're going to lose, let's lose trying to make something happen. Not by running the ball for no yardage and trying to kick a field goal, for example.
Aggressive doesn't mean stupid though.

Yeah, it doesn't make a lot of sense... I know righties aren't Chas' strength but he is still better against them than Dubon is. But, Chas hasn't exactly been hitting the ball hard lately either. For once, I would just like to see our best offensive lineup though... Just once... |

Unless the guy can start 3 or 4 games in a row, I don’t buy that “he’s 100%” argument. |
