9-4 against the Rangers during the season, but that doesn't matter now. Their offense is fully healthy and on fire, and they might get Scherzer back as well.
We're going to need to bring the offense. I wouldn't expect many 3-2 games...

I suspect they’ll play Philly if they get by the Rangers, two teams that can absolutely mash. Ultimately I don’t care if they win 12-10 or 2-1, but I prefer some games decided in our favor by the third inning. That way I can keep my Tums bill at a reasonable level.

At this point I think a 2022 rematch would be the most interesting. Phillies are clearly the better team IMO, so I would certainly prefer the D-Backs as a WS opponent. D-Backs are a total outlier; they actually had a negative run differential during the regular season. 80-82 x-W/L record! |

At this point I think a 2022 rematch would be the most interesting. Phillies are clearly the better team IMO, so I would certainly prefer the D-Backs as a WS opponent. D-Backs are a total outlier; they actually had a negative run differential during the regular season. 80-82 x-W/L record! I just can't see Arizona getting past Philadelphia. Of course, I didn't think they would get past the Dodgers either... |
