KC is not a layup team anymore. They are a good dark horse candidate to make the playoffs.

its no excuse for the start that the Astros have had but they have not played a team yet that is struggling. So far their opponents are 8 games over 500 as a group and we are 3 games under. Kansas City is currently sitting at 6-4 with a 5-2 home record.

Altuve and Chas are a combined 0-13 against this guy. Yordan, Diaz, and Dubon have good numbers.

KC's rotation has actually been very good this year so far, and Ragans is their #1. Ragans, Lugo, and Singer will be tough. At least we'll miss Marsh, who is probably their #2 and possible future #1. Their lineup has some good hitters but is top heavy, not a lot of depth. The bullpen is a notable soft spot, too.

Joe Espada on 790 earlier today: “hopefully we get some good news on Framber”
Espada said that Framber expressed tightness and soreness in his forearm. He said he is hoping that he isn’t out for an extended amount of time.

Are you trying to say desperate times Ordinarily I would say no, but we've spent a ton of money on this current roster to just waste it. If Bauer can be had for cheap we should do it. Just do a one-year deal until they can work on a plan for past this year. Heck, the league hates us already, so adding him isn't going to make much of a difference. Might as well keep winning while we're hated. And I can't think of anybody who would be more motivated than Bauer. |

Framber to the IL, Mushinski recalled.
Henley optioned, Wander Suero called up, Oliver Ortega to the IL to make roster space.
Suero actually looked good for a time with Washington. Misses bats and doesn't walk too many, but he was homer prone.
