I'm sure it's frustrating, but he's the ace, he's the $35 million dollar man, the leader, the Hall of Famer, etc. etc. He has the be the guy that overcomes in that situation. Instead he fell in love with his slightly-above-average velocity fastball and put the streak on the brink. Eh, you're just hard on him because you didn't like the Astros trading prospects for him. Of course I am. He came at a great cost. He needs to deliver. He failed to do so. People should live up to the roles their paid to do. |

The offense failed JV yet again. And he failed today by allowing 4 runs in 4.2 IP. He’s not above reproach in all situations. |
