That strike one call to Altuve was silly.

Just getting dominated by a nobody, even four times through. Terrible showing.

Well, I feel better about the bottom of the order than the top today... Let's at least get one!

Wow. So far this has been an awful showing in the 9th.

Absolutely atrocious. Should have been a sweep. Instead a series loss against the last place team in the weakest division in baseball. Shame on the whole team.

Just getting dominated by a nobody, even four times through. Terrible showing. Anderson was an All Star in 2022 Good for him. This is 2024. 4.90 xFIP, strikeout rate under 6.5 per 9, ground ball rate under 35% coming into this game. 1 run in 8 innings off of that guy is atrocious.

DUBON ARE YOU KIDDING ME DO NOT MAKE THE FIRST OUT AT THIRD I’m sick of this nonsense. The team has no regard for fixing terrible strategy.

Dubon should be playing 3B against LHP. Bregman has earned a demotion. He hits lefties worse than righties.

At least we're still only 5 games back... It was a disappointing series, but it's still been a good run since Mexico. Just have to keep gaining ground.

I'm not sure why they immediately bumped him back up to cleanup after just a couple games. The whole team outside of Meyers and Dubon went cold yesterday though.
It's strange how Loperfido helped provide a spark to the offense and then we just completely stopped using him. He went 2-3 with a sac bunt against Milwaukee his last game then doesn't play all series. A series in which we lose...

He should be starting in at least 4 games a week. To be honest we have a plethora of outfielders who can all start, which is a good thing. We can be sellers of outfield talent at the deadline and still compete. If I were Dana, I would consider trading Chas or Jake at the deadline. Previous years I’d say trade Jake. However, I am now thinking it might be Chas who should be traded.

I wouldn't trade any of our OFers. Play the splits/match-ups and keep the depth. Stop using Dubon in the OF if our OF is all healthy. Have him give more days off to Altuve, Bregman, and 1B who are all struggling and could use a bit of rest now and then. Stop using Yordan in the OF; it's an injury waiting to happen.

I understand your logic and I’m inclined to agree, but do you imagine a scenario where they give Loperfido an honest amount of playing time? They did it last year with Maldonado vs. Díaz.

He is not the answer. The real answer is to have Meyers play everyday and Dubon play most days. That means either Chas or Breggy sits.

That being said, for the right deal nobody on this team is off limits except Tucker for talent and Altuve for Houston icon purposes.

Joey made the offense better cause he added another LHB. Why Brown can't see this I don't get, especially since he complained to Chandler last year about Dusty treating Díaz the way he's treating Loperfido now
