Tough loss. The turning point was Abreu throwing to third and not getting the double play.

They leaned on Scott and Abreu all year and the cracks are showing. They NEED to give these guys some rest.

P.S. Bregman, if you're too hurt to play defense and can only DH, you need to be better than 0-5.

Brown's ERA to 3.72. It was 8.89 when he made his first start in May.

He came in and made a bone-headed play and lost the game all by himself. I have no pity for him. Your starter goes six strong and you get asked for three measly outs. No pity.

Seattle scored four in the bottom of the 8th and then just walked it off in the 10th. Today sucks. Now just 4.5 games ahead...

Tough loss. The turning point was Abreu throwing to third and not getting the double play. There is a serious problem with our pitchers and fielding. For instance, have you ever seen a groundball pitcher with such an inability to throw to a base like Framber?

Good, you can’t just coast and blow easy victories by relying on second place to suck. And yes, it was an easy victory to be had considered Abreu and Hader were primed and ready to close it out.

I don't have pity for him. Even if he had a scoreless outing I would say he needs a break. He is leading the league in appearances. Mental mistakes are a part of being worn out.
