The Texans will get back to their winning ways tonight. If they don’t , they will be the laughingstock of Texas

Pretty solid game all-around. Stroud had some better looking throws (and a good run), but he still seems a little shaken up. The defense looked very impressive (granted, against a weak team). Mixon has been such a stud.

Mixon has been such a stud. I’m not too sure about Stroud having that good of throws, I think he missed a lot of easy throws. Fortunately, for the Texans, they were facing a bad football team.

I think he missed a few throws as well, but he also had some good ones. He needs a TD to kind of get the monkey off his back. It's a shame Tunsil ruined that opening TD pass (even though Nico did most of the work).

Texans are like the Astros. Weak-ass division Very true. With their current team the Texans should make the playoffs, but can they go far into the playoffs? For the Astros, I don’t they will go far anymore, unless things change. I think last year’s team success is the ceiling for this upcoming and future seasons. They definitely stand to regress. Texans, depending upon on who their 1st round matchup is in the playoffs, they could go to the second round. Beyond that, probably not. However, at least the Texans look like with the right moves (bc they have cap space) and nfl draft picks can make an immediate impact, as opposed to MLB draft picks, they are on the upward trajectory. The other Houston team, the Rockets, might have the best chance to be the local team with the next championship.

Not to be a 15TK, but Astros future is looking dimmer. They had an epic run. Crane doesn’t have the foresight/understanding to allow Brown to make decisions/moves to escape their demise (a little Theatrical), major regression. It’s basically now 2025 WSOB. And I really don’t like their chances for 2025, And definitely not beyond it.

It's like huge gains getting called back cause the OL committed a penalty

I’m extremely grateful/appreciative of their run, and I know all good things must come to end. I just want the Astros MGT to be sensible. They have virtually no chance in re-signing Tucker, and I hope they don’t sign Valdez to a 5 year/$150M type of contract.

I want Painter and Crawford. Make it happen VD! And hopefully them acquiring Tucker takes them away from trying to sign Bregman. I don’t want a crummy Third or fourth round compensation pick bc Bregman signs elsewhere. That doesn’t do shit for this team now, and probably never will.

Hader sure let us down a few too many times (including the playoffs) in year one, too.

With their inept OL, it’s going to be quick post season I'm more concerned with Stroud's performance. We didn't expect the O-Line to be great, but Stroud is quickly dropping to one of the lower quality QBs in the league...

We didn't expect the O-Line to be great, but Stroud is quickly dropping to one of the lower quality QBs in the league... OL is the 2nd highest paid in the league, so you would think the talent is there. At least one would hope. You hope it’s the coaching that needs to change. At least the OL coach or maybe more, Offense Coach? I think Stroud is rattled/affected by the horrible blocking. Plus, when he does well, someone on the offense draws a boneheaded penalty that costs them a huge play. B2B weeks Collins caught a pass and took to the house but it was negated by a foolish penalty.
