Definitely. That was his calling card in 2022... Put a lot of runners on and then somehow get out of it. This was what I hated about re-signing Montero. As much grief as we give Neris, he at least has that plus splitter. Montero has average pitches and hopes batters go out of the zone and chase his flat crap. |
