Season over. Thanks for ending it, Framber.

Season over. Thanks for ending it, Framber. I blame Taqueria Arandas. Peña’s range looks diminished. Years past he would have gotten that grounder, and the inning would have been over, so no 3 runs scored with two outs already.

Tough way to end it. If we'd have had focused ABs like that all game we may have scored more than one run...

The expected batting averages on Caratini's and Heyward's outs were both over .500.
This game did not go our way at all.

Season over. Thanks for ending it, Framber. Nah, that’s on our offense. How many times have we seen them relieve themselves at the plate with RISP? How many times have we seen a leadoff double lead to one or less runs? How many times have we seen XBH with the bases loaded?

Well it wouldn't be the 2024 Astros if we didn't put ourselves in a hole immediately. Bounce back tomorrow and force a Game 3.

Gotta stage an intervention and keep him away.

He’s an above average replacement with a shining rookie season who’s just good enough to be on a ML roster. It’s one thing to fail but failing the same way almost every time lets you know what he is. If you disagree, the proof was the bunt.

The difference being that our lineup was facing super elite competition and Framber was facing mediocre-at-best competition. He styles himself the ace and prances around with his peanuts and gold chains and everything, and he has choked in five straight playoff games now. If he doesn't, we likely win the pennant last year. Now we have to do something no team has done before and win two WC games in a row to keep the season alive.

So next year's payroll, we will be paying a combined $88 million to Hader, Pressly, Neris, Montero, J. Abreu, and McCullers. Two of which are not on the roster, and a third may never throw another pitch for us or something. Tremendous GMing there, Crane/Baggy.

I’m about ready to move on from the entire coaching staff. I’ll say this even if we win the next two games. I agree fully when it comes to hitting. However, it would be asinine to part with Josh Miller. He has been a fantastic pitching coach. The things he has done to help turn around Kikuchi, Brown, etc.. Espada is still TBD. They won’t let him go after one season of making the playoffs. I give him some credit. This team was dead in the water and turned it around.

I couldn’t care less about Espada. However, about Miller, he’s watched Framber not be any good in the postseason for two years now.

You say the whole coaching staff and when I hear that, that involved the pitching coach. I just don’t think fans realize how good he is. Hitting, you’re right. Citron and Snitker are worthless.

Course, without him we don't win our 2nd championship... If that makes you feel better about the fact that we're a hairs breadth from having two consecutive playoff runs ended by him, okay. Dude had one bad inning. The offense managed one piddly run. An offense filled with heavily paid stars.

You know you're a spoiled fan base when you're trashing the leadership one game into the postseason after winning another division title.

Should have jettisoned him in the off-season and signed Montgomery to multiple years of big money. Oh, wait… They gave up 3 runs. This is the playoffs. If they can’t score at least 3 runs they don’t deserve to win. And they didn’t.

Should have jettisoned him in the off-season and signed Montgomery to multiple years of big money. Oh, wait… a mistake did that turn out to be or what. Arizona's own owner called it worse and took full responsibility in a press release this week. He admitted had he not intervened in his FO's business, they never would've signed Montgomery. I don't think I've seen an owner do that before

An offense filled with heavily paid stars. Dude had one good inning, the first. The fact that they didn't get more than three off him is a miracle and a tribute to their own mediocrity. His location was trash almost his whole outing. x.com/astro_numbers/status/1841483598647464293
