Absolutely. We must avoid hurt feelings at all costs. Everyone is special. In fact, I'm thinking of creating a safe space thread for all the winners who didn't happen to win last month. There will be coloring books and crayons made available so that each of you may express your inner feelings. Don't encourage the snowflakes. I like Sratch n' Sniff stickers...great childhood memories...and also baseball cards and Garbage Pail Kids....and stationary green army soldiers (bazooka guy was the best)

We use to have players that thought where we were playing would have a rainout. So the would add a Rainout or two to their prediction. No one has done that for a while now. As the one or two guys didn't get a rainout quit putting that in the monthly pick. Wonder who that dumbass was? Still, you didn't answer...... do we basically ditch the game for the month (proclaim no winner) if we have a rainout? In my Opinion, absolutely no one predicted the final win-loss record for the month. That is the most important one. The score averaging just figures a winner as we usually have more than one or two people picking the same win-loss record.

In this instance it was m240, even though it was unconventional.

I always get close but for the last two years I have not won this competition. So I do not want to win it by being the one who screwed up the least . No winner last month. Let's move on.

I always get close but for the last two years I have not won this competition. So I do not want to win it by being the one who screwed up the least . No winner last month. Let's move on. Closest wins:
1st tie breaker Wins and Losses (deviation WINS + deviation LOSSES) fewest wins
2nd tie breaker RS and RA (deviation RS + deviation RA) fewest wins
if it's still tied, then co-champions
This should take care of rain outs and any other unexpected schedule adjustments.
I do think this is a time to recommend that suspended games not completed at the end of the month not be included in the monthly winner calculations.
I think that covers all permutations. If you think of another or don't like this, just chime in. (We all know that you will or you wouldn't be here)
July Record 13-11, 107 RS 98 RA YTD 68-41, 538 RS, 358 RA
batman007 11-13 119 RS 108 RA Kaboom!!!
1st tie breaker 2+2=4
m240 14-10 120 RS 96 RA Kaboom... 1st tie breaker 1+1=2
m240 wins
like it or not
