1st in run differential at +170 (still a 50 point lead despite the struggles) I think this is misleading seeing as quite a few of the team’s losses are in close or extra inning games. It's just a stat. What is it misleading of?

If it's like here, it will be rained out.

How are our boys in Arlington for the second series in a row against the Rangers? schedule = weird. We don't have any games against the Rangers after July 29

Just food for thought. With Bregman's recent combination of plate discipline and hard contact in the zone, could he be turning into everything the press has hyped about Trout? I mean, Bregs is only 24.

It's just a stat. What is it misleading of? I just explained it. It's just showing the comparison of our runs scored to runs allowed. Normally that is a good benchmark for how a team is doing.

Take the ‘08 Astros for example. I believe theirs was negative, yet they still managed a winning record.

There are always exceptions and flukes, but it's generally a good stat for measuring how a team is doing. And we're two games behind of being the best team in baseball so I feel like it's fairly accurate right now for us.

Since the Mariners are only 2.5 back of Boston, how worried are you about them?

I had no doubt Hinch would keep George in the leadoff spot. I guess if he goes 0-4 with 3 K's he'll lead off tomorrow, too. Ridiculous He’s going to break loose any day now and when he do he will win the AL MVP award for 2018. The Rangers pitching staff could be the victim of his outbreak.

The only team in the AL that concerns me is the Yankees.

The Red Sox offense scares me if Betts stays healthy.
And I think both of them will load up on pitching. We need a bat and a reliever.

I checked and Springer had 2 sacrifice hits on 2015. None since. He should try bunting sometime.
