there was one year in there where we lost 15 out of 17 to them. I think it was 14 In ‘16, they lost 15 of 19 to the Rangers. |

Must be on a flight to Houston. I would like to see White at 1B, Kemp at 2B, Bregman at SS and Yuli at 3B. Won’t be holding my breath waiting for that though. |

Something has to be done. Marwin playing second is pathetic. Should be Kemp or our next best middle infielder in the farm. Hell just get someone up that has a great glove for the time needed.

Brnging up White again solves nothing. Luhnow is going to have to turn loose of a few prospects he has been hoarding and get us some help.

They are playing like they don't give a damn.......the attitude from last year is gone. I think we miss Beltran in the clubhouse. Seattle lost to the Angels again and the Rockies beat the A's again so we still lead by 5 games over the Mariners and 6 over the A's. |

With Altuve and Correa on the DL, I’m curious to see the lineup AJ sends out against Mike Minor on Sunday and how he lines up the batting order #2-#9 after Springer bats first. Here are our position players numbers against Minor this year:
Stassi- 2-5, 1 HR
Yuli - 5-8, 2 HR
Bregman - 3-11,1 2B
Marwin - 0-9 (0-13 in his career)
Kemp - 1-5, 1 2B
Reddick - 2-5, 1 HR (He is batting .295 vs lefties and .233 vs righties this year)
Springer - 3-9
Gattis - 1-9
Tucker - No Record (He is 2-6 vs lefties and 4-36 vs righties since being called up. He batted .306 vs lefties at AAA this year)
Davis - No record
Maldonado - No record (He is 0-20 in his last 7 games)
White - No record
With Altuve and Correa out and with the offense struggling with the “slow pitch softball/swing for the fences/HR or K” approach, maybe they should consider playing a little small ball. The lineup and batting order I would like to see (with Springer batting first, of course...no need to even consider anything else, so I won’t):
Springer CF
Kemp 2B
Bregman SS
Yuli 1B
Reddick RF
Stassi C
White DH (I’m assuming he will replace Altuve on the active roster. He’s batting .327 vs lefties and is on a 13 game hitting streak at Fresno)
Davis 3B
Tucker LF
That is what I would like to see. What I expect to see is the same lineup and batting order that we saw Saturday, but with Maldonado at catcher.

I wonder if Altuves knee problems have something to do with his lack of power in 2018 plus his slowdown on SB’s. If Altuve needs surgery there’s a chance you can put fork in this season. |

Somebody needs to take Gattis behind the Wood Shed and have a little Pep Talk about what his role and responsibility to the team is. Marwin needs to sit for several days to contemplate what he is bringing to the table of late and how he needs to WTF up. |
