Thank you guys. All games are on www.ustream.tv/channel/jlws. My son will be pitching the U.S. Champ game Saturday at 4:00. If we win the international game will be Sunday at Noon on Espn. |

No power, but good glove, good contact hitter and fast on his feet. He batted lefty. I taught him to drag bunt....now there’s a near extinct art. He could bunt for a base hit most any time he wanted to. Special times those were. Enjoy every moment with Hunter. |

If Hunter can pull off a team win on Saturday, it would be interesting to see if any USA team has ever accomplished the feat from LL to the next level. They have mentioned this tournament is on around 38 years old. But it would be nice to be the first team to do it.

You should be proud. There have been a lot of very good ballplayers produced in Lufkin over the years. A number of major leaguers. These boys have already accomplished something no other group from Lufkin has ever accomplished. |

I thought the game was starting seven eastern time. The dude is pushing his luck on the lead at first, Hunter giving him a look at first. |

Hunter should have varied his step count on the dude on first. Should have quick stepped of the rubber and through over while he was showboating his steps toward second. Didn't matter got out of the inning.

That is one of the biggest adjustments a pitcher has to make when going from LL to the upper levels, working on a pick off move from the stretch. Hunter did a good job holding that runner on.
